CieloTrack

See what flies over your neighbourhood.

Drones sold in the US since September 2023 must broadcast Remote ID — a serial number, position, altitude, speed, and the operator's location — in the clear, on frequencies any ordinary radio can receive. CieloTrack listens for those broadcasts and puts them on a map.

We email you a one-time link. There is no password to remember, and nothing to leak.

Not arriving? Check spam first. Some corporate mail filters reject sign-in links outright, and when that happens nothing we send can tell you so — say hello and we will sort it out another way.

Build a receiver

A Raspberry Pi, a Bluetooth adapter and a Wi-Fi adapter are enough to watch your own airspace. The software is open source, it receives only, and it transmits nothing.

Receiving a public broadcast. CieloTrack transmits nothing and does not interfere with any aircraft.
